Stump Removal
Tree, stump, and brush removal to clear the way for your next project.
What We Offer
We pull stumps out roots and all with our John Deere 60P excavator, haul them away, and fill and grade the hole. Stump grinding is available when pulling isn’t the right fit, like tight spots near a house or buried utilities.
-
Pulling takes out the stump and the roots, so the ground can be built on, driven on or planted
Nothing left in the ground to rot, sink or sprout back
We haul the stumps away and fill and grade the hole
Grinding is available for tight spots near buildings, fences and utilities
-
Stumps left after tree removal or storm damage

Yards and lawn areas being regraded

One stump or a whole lot

Stump Removal FAQs
-
Both. We prefer to pull stumps with our excavator because the roots come out with them, which matters if you plan to build, pour concrete, or put in a driveway or lawn. We grind when a stump is too close to a house, a septic system or buried utilities to dig safely.
-
We clear efficiently while limiting unnecessary disturbance. We haul or process debris as we go so you’re not left with brush piles or a torn-up site when we’re done.
-
We haul it. We run our own dump trailers, so trees, brush and stumps leave your property as we go. If you’d rather keep firewood or have brush piled for burning, tell us at the estimate and we’ll set it aside.
-
Pricing depends on how many stumps there are, their size, and access. We give free, itemized estimates so there are no surprises.

Yes. We’re fully insured, veteran and family owned, serving Wisconsin Rapids and central Wisconsin. Call or text (715) 892-2429 for a free estimate.
-
Yes, and it’s often the best time. Frozen ground lets us get equipment onto wet or low lots without rutting them, there are no leaves in the way, and it’s the safe season to take down oaks. Clearing in winter also means your site is ready the day your builder is.
